Our Licensed Trade course is recognised by the British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body (BIIAB) and provides a full and comprehensive training in Public House Management in preparation for running or being involved in a successful business. These are run monthly at Unicorn Packaging Centre, Stockport over a five day period, although this course is designed so that you or your staff can attend part sessions only.

BIIAB Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations (ILRO)
Designed to cater for all areas that you need to be aware of when involved in running a licensed premises, including marketing and promotions and health and safety. -
BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH)
BIIAB Level 2 Certificate is designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003. -
BIIAB Award in Beer and Cellar Quality (ABCQ)
BIIAB Award designed to ensure that beer is served in optimum condition – thus increasing sales and decreasing wastage. Learn how to serve the perfect pint every time! -
Level 2 Food Safety
It is important that all staff in licensed premises are properly trained in Food Safety. Anyone preparing or handling food must be trained ‘commensurate with their work activity’ and they must also understand the HACCP system.
