It is situated just above the hairpin bend on the A54, overlooking to the North is the valley of Wildboarclough and Macclesfield Forest and looking to the West is Wincle Minn and Bosley Cloud both with their magnificent panoramic views. This quaint country house is stone built and nestles into the hillside. It is a long building that sits close to the main road. It very much a destination house as there is only a small local trade. It has a small car park near to the pub (4 cars) and a larger car park(5 cars) slightly further away. There is access to a campsite. The pub has a function Room that can accommodate meetings up to 15 people. The pub also benefits from 3 en suite letting bedrooms. It has a unique setting and is popular with walkers. |
