The busy, but small town of Whaley Bridge, is situated in the picturesque surroundings of the north west corner of the Derbyshire Peak District. This from a topographical outlook, lies just outside the Peak District National Park and is 2 miles from Disley and 3 miles from Chapel en le Frith. Many visitors who come in from the north, frequently make use of the town's position to gain access through to the magnificent Goyt Valley and Peak Forest Canal. This attractive pub was refurbished in 2008 and is very well positioned to take advantage of the trade in this busy village. Its stone frontage is part of a row of retail units. To the side there is a small patio and smoking shelter. Although there is a good sized kitchen, no food is currently available. |
