Sandbach is a Cheshire market town that is near to Junc 17 on the M6. One landmark that can be seen for many miles around is the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope which is 3 miles away. The pub is located in the historic centre of the town. This recently renovated medieval cobbled area is an attraction for locals and visitors to the town. |
Description |
This is an old building with lots of character. It has a white painted facade as well as a rear entrance which leads to shops and market stalls on Thursday (market day). There is plenty of public parking in the area. The location is ideal to attract lunchtime shoppers and eaters as well as town centre circuit trade. They do have teams and entertainment 1 night a week. Food is available lunchtimes only (24 covers). It served from a good sized kitchen, however, equipment is limited. The interior is cosy and its atmosphere is created by the use of small areas within the pub, each with its own ‘feel’. There is an excellent beer garden to the side which also offers a smoking shelter. This is a well positioned house that can offer a good opportunity for a new tenant. |
