Location |
Baguley is about eight miles south of the city centre. It is west of Princess Parkway, mostly between Altrincham Road and Hollyhedge Road. Princess Parkway is a major route into the city from the M56 and the motorway network, so there's good access to Manchester Airport and other areas of south Manchester and Cheshire. It's close to Wythenshawe hospital. The pub is located on Wythenshawe Rd (B5167) which is near to Wythenshawe Park and all its amenities. |
Description |
The pub is in a very visible position on the main road. It has a large car park at the side (30 cars) as well as a small area on the front. The Pub serves a large local population and is very much a pub for the local community. The standard of housing is good and there are areas nearby where recent housing developments have taken place. The pub is in good condition and has a well established local trade. To the rear there is an excellent patio area that also contains a covered smoking zone. This is a large area with seating for at least 50-60 people. |
