Walk around nearly 170 years of brewing excellence, take
a step into tradition with one of our experienced tour
guides. After a short but informative introduction held
in the "Unicorn Room", they will accompany you round
the Brewery.
Whilst learning about each individual process you will be able to enjoy the fresh taste of the various malts, the aroma of hops and the texture of yeast. The definition of such terms as “mashing”, “wort” and “rousing” will be explained to you.
Your tour will conclude with the opportunity to sample some of our products within the comfort of the Unicorn Room where you will be able to purchase mementos of your visit.
Tour Fees & Highlights
Visits take place Monday to Thursday at 2pm and at 7.30pm. Group numbers are limited to between 15 and 20 people maximum, although we can accommodate small groups and individuals. All bookings must be pre-booked and dates are subject to availability.
There will be a non refundable charge of £6.75 per head excluding food, there is a special concessionary price of £3.50 per head for Senior Citizens. A finger buffet is available on request priced at £4.25 per head.
